The fungus grows in the neighborhood with their edible counterparts, often in parks, gardens. Mainly on sandy soils, from July to October. Fruit Tree up to 10 cm long, rounded, smooth or warty, first with the tough, hard, grayish-yellow shell and a thick, purple-black, with white veins inside, at the end of growth with a thin, brittle shell and powder, olive-brown spore mass inside. Pulp with an unpleasant heavy smell of raw potatoes. Mushroom inedible.
