Node — this is one of the oldest human inventions. Since the remote times, a person can not do without a rope and the ability to tie knots. But is it really so important in our time to know how to tie knots, as metal and synthetics provide us with a secure hold various objects? Proves important. In our life, we must be able to tie knots on shoes, tie a stack of books, tie bags, tie things to the car trunk, pull and securely tie a rope to tie hooks to secure the line. But the vast majority of people have a very primitive idea of how to tie knots.
In this little book you will find 38 sites that can be useful in many different situations. All of these components thoroughly tested, they are tying circuit diagrams and explanations, some of the areas of application, limitations and drawbacks. If you want to know more about the nodes, the Council wrote to the excellent book, LK Skryagin "Marine units" (Moscow, Transport, 1982).
Study sites takes time and patience. Take a thin soft rope and sit down with her and book a table. Start learning scheme, moving from radical end of the rope to its end of moves, and then the exact scheme tie a rope knot. Threaded end of the rope — it's her unattached free end, which moves in the tying node is the root end ropes or fixed motionless or does not move at tying knots. The book running and root ends are indicated as follows:
Once you understand the scheme, tie a knot several times by selecting the most convenient way of knotting. After all, the same kinds of people tie knot in different ways.
Inexperienced people are surprisingly easy to forget the way to tying the knot. So, if you want to permanently apply any node, then you need to tie it many times, bringing the process of tying up a full automatic. And then you have to repeat the exercise again periodically knotting.
Of 38 knots reader chooses those he needed. But the simplest knots everyone should know, for example, any reader must master womanish and reef (right) nodes and clearly understand the difference between them.
A few words about the names of nodes. Only some of the nodes are established names. If you look, for example, English literature, you can see that the same node may have different names. Often the site name changes depending on how it is tying. Therefore, some taken in the name of the book to some extent arbitrary, for example, name node "grinner" is not a translation from the English language, and transmits a sounding English word.
At the end of the book you will find a general recommendation. But about one recommendation you should always remember. If you need to use a rope or fishing line from an unknown material, then try on her site that you want to apply. After changing the properties of nodes, even for the rope (line) with the same material but with different thicknesses.
And once again recall that only the numerous training and repetition lead to the successful use of nodes.
