Emergency aid (stop bleeding, imposing tires on fractures, bandaging, etc.) must be possible at the scene.
All issues related to transportation and ways should be considered in terms of:
certain features of the environment (the time of year, temperature conditions, terrain, etc.), severity of the injury;
small amount or no medical equipment and special vehicles, which involves only available tools based on local opportunities; absence in the vicinity of the trauma clinic, making the inevitable transportation to scrap vehicles;
the time required to return to the populated areas, the number of people in the group, the presence of first-aid kits;
medical experience of the group, or of being in her person with a medical background (medical orderly, paramedic, doctor), able to assist and organize the necessary conditions for transport.
The main types of carrying
improvised; • on special media.
Naturally, the most convenient, safe and gentle is mechanized transportation, but it is possible only if there is at what transport or on the radio was a helicopter, sea (river) boat, car (ATV). Pack-transport is faster than the manual, but hard to organize, so this guide is not considered, as well as mechanized.
With a variety of different methods and types of transportation to the team they will be at best one or two. If possible, choose the mode of transport is necessary, among other things, to predict various possible obstacles like terrain and elements (debris avalanches and avalanche areas, no fords, rocky track sections, forest fires, etc.).
We consider separately each of the available modes of transportation in independent conditions and emergency situations.
