President of the Syrian Republic on Sunday appealed to the people about the situation in the country, saying that the Syrians oppose extremists supporting the views of the "Al Qaeda", which helps to fight from the outside other countries.
President at the beginning of his speech, said that he "regretted refers to the situation in the country due to which people are killed and many become refugees."
He noted that in Syria there is a conflict between the people and the armed gangs who are killing civilians, destroying schools and infrastructure, "Interfax".
"This is a conflict with the authorities and the opposition, but to the nation and its enemies, the enemies of God who will go to hell", – the president of Syria.
Assad said that the fight against the Syrian authorities are extremists and Salafis, who spread terror in Syria.
"These terrorists are hatching the idea of" al-Qaeda "- said Assad.
The President stressed that many of the militants who are fighting against government forces is not an ethnic Syrians, and they help a number of other countries.
