Abres,The main source of infection is the fish living in the river Chulym. According to research conducted in 2010, in Achinsk 10.7% of the samples of fresh fish identified pathogens difillobotrioz and opisthorchiasis. The average Russian rate is 3.4%.
The prevalence of opisthorchiasis among the population of the town in the last 3 years remains one of the highest in the Krasnoyarsk region (more than 10 times higher than the regional figure!).
The same is true for other areas of Prichulymja: Nazarovo, Tyuchtet, bolsheuluiskoe, Birilyussy and Nazarovo areas.
People can get sick by eating contaminated fish. The source of infection are also wooden boards, Cutlery items, which are used for cutting fish. In this case, it is safer to use glass and plastic cutting surface.
Symptoms of infection with difillobotrioz and opisthorchiasis overlap with symptoms of other diseases: loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, unstable chair, falling disability, weakness, sleepiness, discomfort in the language when receiving a sour, salty foods, drugs, temperature to 38-40, insomnia. When they appear, you need to consult a doctor and get tested.
To protect yourself from diseases, you need to follow simple rules:
— the fish is cut into individual boards, dishes, pour over boiling water,
— wash hands after working with soap,
— avoid tasting raw meat and other semi-finished fish and caviar, not to eat frozen fish,
— cook fish portions at least 20 minutes after boiling, fish dumplings – not less than 5 minutes after boiling,
— bake fish cakes for 45-60 minutes,
— fish (fish cakes), you need to fry portions in fat not less than 15 minutes. Large pieces of fish to fry 100g spread in the form of at least 20 minutes,
— small fish can be cooked whole for 15-20 minutes,
— strong Ambassador (20% salt by weight of fish) with a 10-day exposure,
— drying of small cyprinid fish (roach, Dace) for 3 weeks with 2-3-day preliminary Ambassador.
