Lord survivalist, Good day!
Long been following this wonderful resource, learned from it (thanks to you) a fair amount of useful information, but decided to write for the first time. I’m not so steep that would live for months in the woods, eating whatever came. Fell beast homemade bayonet, so long thought that useful I can tell you. And then I remembered about one device, the description of which I have not found here.
And so rescuer insulating SPI-20.
spizhenI have not engaged in distant 2009 in beautiful Northern Railway locomotive depot, on the occasion. It is used to protect the skin, eyes and respiratory tract from the flames and smoke.
Judging by the description of the filter element, the active drape in case of fire, soak for 20 minutes. While waiting for help (Everything burns, and I FSUs I sit smoke) 40 minutes.
Rescuer operates on the principle of human exhalation moisture absorption and carbon dioxide chemically regenerative product in isolation of oxygen therefrom. Oxygen for respiration comes not from the external environment, and stands within the insulating unit.
Touch rubberized material lifeguard (impregnated) dense fabric, materials fit very tight, everything was done qualitatively. On the back side of the membrane eliminates ingress of smoke and noxious substances (barely took off without damaging). I think that the threat of chemical in a limited area it will also be useful.
Pros: easy, made qualitatively.
Cons: expensive (price looked at the store), small time operation with active drape, disposable.
Currently lying at home just in case.
Waiting for criticism, pleased to meet you!
P.s. Criticized by many waking hours in the absence of neighbor camera
