Earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred on Tuesday in central Italy, reported the National Civil Defence.
Fluctuations in the earth’s surface were recorded in 14.12 local time (16.12 MSK).
Tremors were clearly felt in various localities of the Italian regions of Tuscany and Umbria. The earthquake occurred just at the time when the Regional Council of Umbria in Perugia (Perugia) went session devoted to the adoption of the 2010 budget. All those present at the meeting felt the tremors, but decided not to stop working. Earthquake of moderate strength occur in these places regularly.
