The International exhibition “Hunting and fishing in Russia” February 26, 2014 held an organizational conference “Hunter, hunting and hunting in the realities of modern Russia.” It will take place at the All-Russia Exhibition Center (VVC), Pavilion 75 Conference Hall (Moscow, Prospect Mira, d.119, Metro ENEA). The conference begins: 11.00; Registration of participants from 10.00.
The organizer of the conference on the state of hunting Russian and preserving the traditions of Russian hunting acted as a social movement «Russian Hunting Union» with the support of the initiative group to amend the Law on Hunting of the deputy of the State Duma Nikolai Valuev; Committee to promote the protection of civil rights and freedoms in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources; Interregional military-hunting society CO BV; Moscow City Society of Hunters.

Over the past decade in the field of Russian hunting has accumulated a number of serious problems. Experience shows that the state is unable to cope with their decision. Extensive hunting community can and should connect to the discussion of these issues, identify ways to address them and to make constructive suggestions to government authorities.
In a recent address to the Federal Assembly President noted that «Modern Russia needs a broad public debate, and with practical results that public initiatives are part of public policy and society monitors their implementation».
The conference will report (co-reports) on the following topics is desirable in view of the stated objectives of the conference:
- – social significance and accessibility of hunting,
- – preservation of hunting traditions and traditional hunting;
- – Staffing hunting industry;
- – the role and importance of long-term users of hunting grounds in hunting;
- – problems of Russian hunting societies;
- – Russian state hunting dog;
- – the situation in the Russian hunting tourism;
- – questions and problems of state regulation and control in the field of hunting;
- – turnover of hunting weapons.
List of speakers (co-rapporteurs) is formed. On the agenda – discussions on these and other issues; may conduct breakout sessions and roundtables on specific issues.
The conference is planned to complete the discussion and adoption of the final declaration.
