Essential oils from insect bites

Insects, including mosquitoes, are very sensitive to unpleasant smells. This fact is taken as the basis for finding effective ways to deal with them.

One of the options for folk remedies for mosquito bites are essential oils that have pronounced aromas. Their advantages are natural and convenient to use. And their smell often has a calming and relaxing effect.

  • Mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda with a teaspoon of water to form a thick paste. Apply the product to the bite and remove when it is completely dry with warm running water. You can repeat the procedure several times a day. This method is suitable even for small children and pregnant women;
  • Essential oils of tea tree, mint or eucalyptus can relieve itching and swelling. They need to be applied in a thin layer and rubbed into the skin with light movements without effort. Usually the effect lasts a long time;
  • Aloe juice has a good soothing and regenerating effect;
  • You can attach to the bite a piece of cotton dipped in the most common medical alcohol. Also fit cologne or vodka. For children, this option is undesirable, as they have very sensitive and delicate skin;

  • The site of the lesion is very close to the eyes;
