In “adult” perennial fungi, “annual rings” are well pronounced – annual growth zones (photos 3, 3a, 3b, as well as 1 and others):

The fungus is subject to both age-related variability (more on this below) and the variability associated with the restructuring of the growth form. You can often find the irregular shape or accreted (photos 4, 4a and 4b):

The sporiferous hymenophore occurs at the bottom of the cap. It is so that you can get enough sleep (photos 5 and 5a). If the tree grows, it becomes a tindery, it can be seen at the bottom of the tree (photo 5b and 5c). Occasionally, it can be seen in the ground. It has been shown that it has been possible to reduce the damage to the tree. In fact, it is a fungus settles and it has not been affected, it has not been shaken, it has not been affected by the It is a parasitic fungus xylophage that grows after it has died. Thus, Yu.Nasimovich spent in the forest on the river near Moscow (spent in total, they described 2100 trunks: 500 dead and 1600 live birches). It was found that there was no problem for the body of the dead trunks. of some trees were broken off. It was noted only on 9 living birches from 1600 (0.56%) and on 242 dead trunks (48.4%).

Edible parts and recipes

Fomes fomentarius since ancient times have been used as food and medicine. As a medicine, this mushroom is used in fungotherapy and now. It is almost never used for food, but it is not always used. Another question – the body of the fruit body quickly hardens.

A young mushroom is used in soup. If the fruit body only “proklyunulsya” (photo 14, 14a, also 9 and 9a) – then it is completely edible. It is rare to find a newborn baby mushroom mushroom that has been striking the eye.

Perennial edibles are also edible. It stands out for its lighter color (often – just white) and softness (photo 14b, 14v, 14g and 14d). Editing in this case is determined by touch – according to the degree of softness. But it doesn’t taste – even a new-born tinder boxers.

Preculinary processing

Pre-culinary treatment is a long soaking, boiling and subsequent grinding. Soak immediately after collecting the water. Soaking removes bitterness partially. Boiling removes the bitterness. It is necessary to boil large pieces (if the fruit body itself is large-cut), then drain the water. It is determined that it takes 10–20 minutes. If the fungus is a newborn, it is determined by the taste.

If you’re already horned) and grind. The nutrients will pass into the broth. In the broth to cook also a long time. In the case of the fungus, it’s hard to keep it.

Tinder Cake Soup with Barley

We didn’t need to use our standard method. The taste of the mushroom broth from the tinder is present, of course, it is inferior to the champignon, white mushrooms or liver. However, the best seasoning is hunger. It is modestly keep quiet.

Ingredients for 2.5 – 3 liters of soup:

  • Prepared tinder present = 250-300 g.;
  • Pearl barley (presoaked – 4-6 hours, longer) = 70-80 g;
  • Potatoes = 200-250 g (2-3 pieces);
  • Carrots, onion for zazharki = 1 pc. (approximately 50 g);
  • Chicken egg = 1 pc. (50 g);
  • Vegetable oil = 2-3 spoons (10 g, can be much more);
  • Salt, bay leaf, dill and spices (allspice, coriander, black pepper) = to taste.

It should be said that it is recommended to use the mushroom soups.

The procedure for cooking soup:

Cooked at low heat for 10-15 minutes in water and then cooked over low heat (3 liters of salted water and boiling off). Boil the broth until softened or even boil the cereal (40-50 minutes).

At the same time, the carrot-onion will be lightly.

If you’re looking for some sticky thickness, you can’t make it.

Continuous stirring (dissolve).

Remove from the heat, crumble the dill and the heat of the dill.

As a result, we get something like this (photo 14e):

Food in the forest: Trutovik real14th. Mushroom soup from tinder present with barley

Notes on product interchangeability:

Pearl barley – has no wild natural. In the mushroom soups, you can substitute a buckwheat, millet, wheat groats or noodles or noodles. In the field, probably the barley in the soup can replace acorn croup. But the taste will be different in all cases.

Potato – hardly replaceable product, also has no satisfactory natural substitutes. By the rehs (reed, rogoz, burlap), it is replaced by the rhizomes of “reeds” (reed, rogoz, burlap). On wet and wet meadows, there are also rhizomatous and nodule starch plants. However, all of the more sweet, and more likely, are those of the sweet potato – sweet potato.

Carrot by carrots Seseli tortuosum, S.arenaria and carrots wild Daucus carota. They are indistinguishable from garden carrots. But they are hard and ligneous. They are not used simultaneously. Then thrown away. If it is good, you can eat it like boiled carrots.

Onion – Abbreviated Alium. It is peculiar and unusual – onion-garlic.

Chicken egg – on the replacement of silent.

Vegetable oil – hardly replaceable product. In the mushroom soup, you can substitute butter or chicken fat. It is a problematic and often requires oil to extract extracts.

Salt – Under normal field conditions, there is nothing to replace. There is a possibility to get rid of excess salt (including salt-loving halophyte plants).

Bay leaf has no wild domestic counterparts.

But wild spicy aromatic plants, (here – allspice, coriander, black pepper). But each species has its own specific aroma and taste. About them – separate stories.

Firefighter tinder

It is true that the buttermonger has been hit. In the past, there has been no fire in the field. Truth was a great solution to this problem. It is reflected in its Latin name (“Fomes fomentarius” – “tinder tinder”), and in Russian, having a similar meaning (“real tinder”).

It has been found that it has been found that it has been found in the Tyrolean Alps. the Similaun glacier. Back to the 33rd century BC. Ligaments of two types of tinder were found. The second is a blood sponge, or tinder (photo 15).

In the middle of the water, it is a tritin. Slow down Probably in prehistoric Europe it was used for the same purposes. The gunner was worn to the gunner.

It is not necessary to create any discomfort when worn. It is necessary to follow the rules of the fire. After inflating the fire ignition fuel. Spark quite easy to get in any conditions. For example, it is enough to make it. It is also a tinder or even white bottle glass.

If you’re looking for something to do. on the remaining matches and cook tinder.

It is not necessary to complete the equipment. However, this is a very time-consuming business. It is the most suitable for making tinder. It is a spongy “suede” core (photo 15a, 15b, 15b, as well as especially 2b and 8a). Therefore, it is recommended that you should have a sandy-grained core and solid tubular skin (photo 15g). The inner spongy core (“suede”) comes in (it can be tidy up) and the color of it (y 15d).

The process of making a tinder consists of the following steps:

  1. Processing (cleaning) tinder;
  2. Cooking tinder;
  3. Directly cooking the fungal mushroom;
  4. Machining (beating-softening, pulling and stretching) of the welded tinder;
  5. Re-soak and re-soak
  6. Drying and final kneading tinder.

The cutout sponge is the best part. It is necessary to remove the unnecessary surface (photo 15g). It remains a granular kernel. Spongy – springy! the size of a palm (photo 15e).

After this, a solution is prepared. The pan is filled with a crumbly ashes to one-third, filled with water. Cooked suede pieces placed on the fire (photo 15). It is necessary to boil for at least 1.5 hours, the longer – the better. In the process of boiling, the “suede” plates become rubber-soft and are impregnated with ashes (photo 15z):

It is a wooden beater (as a chop). In this case, it is advisable to rub it in the tinder left after it has been settled. Replaced plates are bored for a while, occasionally stirring.

After daily infusion, removing the hard nodules. Then again they are kneeling and stretch. The result is “suede cloth”, even from minor sparks. In this case, it is desirable to get the spark. Interestingly, you can see (photo 15i).

It is noted that the fungus should not be washed. Therefore, it is better to use tinder, for example, metal cans from coffee.

The classic marching method of making tinder. Cooking tinder, a little different from ours. For example, the saltpeter or soda is digested in the urine.

It is also recommended that you watch the videos on the site. They’re not using the genre of the genus Phellinus (such as: “Tinder? It’s in Africa, the tinder!” ). It is possible that we have two big differences (photo 15k).

Hemostatic agent

It has been a bactericidal material for hemostatic dressings. Hence the fungus – blood sponge. Surgeons and dentists used in this capacity until the XIX century. Tinder was used as a hemostatic agent for painful menstruation and hemorrhoids. It has been shown that the pharmacists have been in online stores.

Antibacterial and antiviral agent

In particular, they can be treated for tuberculosis, pneumonia, chronic and viral hepatitis, dysbacteriosis and other diseases. And also – in the form lotions on broth powder – bruises In traditional Chinese medicine, even a cancer has been treated with tinder decoction.

Regeneration of the liver and normalization of metabolism

Contained in tinder polysaccharide lanofil promotes cirrhosis and degeneration of liver. In combination with substances, it stops viral activity. Decoction and infusion on vodka (vodka in dilution with water 1: 1) tinder present treat chronic and viral hepatitis.

Cleaning the body of toxins and carcinogens

It binds poisons and then removes them from the body. agaric acid – very rare in nature, but in tinder in significant quantities.

At acute poisoning apply decoctions and water infusions (drinking) or finely chopped or powdered pulp tinder (swallow like activated carbon).

Methodical and long-term cleaning the body from toxins comes down to sucking tinder: Every day after eating, chew a piece of mushroom chewing gum for 15-20 minutes. Mushroom does not swallow! The duration of treatment is not limited. Toxins are eliminated from saliva, gums and teeth are strengthened.

Considered a good remedy for constipation and dysbacteriosis. In India, a tinder decoction is now used as a diuretic, laxative for constipation, and a tonic for a nervous system.

Many fungist therapists prefer to do dried mushroom powders – It is a good idea to clean it up. Dry powders of the fungus, brewed water with boiling water, and it makes fungicidal products potent and easily digestible. You can not even brew with boiling water, just “dissolve” the powder in ordinary drinking water. The powder itself is an adsorbent.

Healing of fresh wounds, burns and ulcers:

Cover the wound powder out of the fungus, close with gauze and bandaged.

At festering wounds – prewash with hydrogen peroxide (3%) or furatsilina solution (1: 5000), dry with a napkin. Next, fill the pipe powder as described above. The procedure is done daily.

Other species of the genus Fomes and their characteristics

Although it doesn’t have a relative in our area. According to the old taxonomy,

Similar species

It is difficult to confuse with other tinder workers. In fact, there are many tree fungi that are at different stages of their development. Especially – if we are talking about edible newborn fruit bodies. If you’re looking for something to do it yourself, you’ll always be able to make it. .

Tinder larch

But it’s not a problem. This tinder – only on deciduous species, larch – only on conifers.

Other tinder genus Fomitopsis

Mostly these are consorts of coniferous trees – like a larch sponge. On the deciduous trees, however, there is often only one species, fomitopsis fringed.

Sinister bordered (pine)

Fomitopsis pinicola (photo 20 and 20a) – this is a sprit of the species. It is rarely found on trees, but it is rarely found on it. It is a strip along the edge. It can be whitish, yellowish, orange, cinnamon red, bright red or dark cherry. Often a very beautiful palette.

Sinkers of the genus Ganoderma

There is a widespread and diverse genus of morphotype morphology of Africa. We have several species that can be confused with tinder present. Most adult fruiting bodies are easily distinguished by macro signs from Fomes fomentarius. However, there are basidiomas, which are the exact copy. However, it has been a tome-ganoderma that has been the case.
Ganoderma will be described in detail in the following articles. Here below is a tinder present.

Polypore flat Ganoderma applanatum

It corresponds to the appearance of its classic form (photo 22). Very widespread species = cosmopolitan. It is sometimes found on living trees. Tinderboy is the most common habitat of this trees, where it grows. It is also common on oak (photo 22b). In this mushroom, it doesn’t crack.

Ganoderma southern Ganoderma australe

Close to the previous view. But it is much more like a tinder present. It occupies the forest in the deciduous forest zone. It settles on deciduous trees, mainly on oak (photo 23 and 23a).

Ganoderma resinous Ganoderma resinaceum

It occurs mainly in the Caucasus, the Carpathians, the Altai and the Far East. It develops on living trees of deciduous trees (oak – most often, also beech, willow, alder), and sometimes on larch.

It is often shiny – that is, a pattern of a well-developed cuticle (photo 24). Newborns of ganoderma are hardly distinguishable from those of Phomes (photo 24a).
