However, so that the surface of the sausage is not moldy, you must lubricate it with grease.

In no case should you take unstable cooked sausages on a camping trip. Smoked salted fish in order to protect it from “rusting” should be placed in plastic bags and sealed with a hot iron or soldering iron.

Preparation and use of butter and dairy products.

Butter spoils quickly, so you need to melt it, pack it in metal cans and solder it. Small tin boxes are very convenient for this purpose. Vegetable oil is conveniently transported in a small polyethylene canister with a capacity of 2 liters, designed to store food (non-technical) products.

Metal boxes are sealed at the seam with adhesive tape or sticky transparent tape, having previously removed the paper sticker, otherwise all waterproofing will be useless.

Salt, like sugar, requires waterproof packaging. Even in waterproof bags, salt quickly gets wet and its mass increases sharply when the bag is opened in the morning and in the evenings during dew. If 8% starch is added to the salt, it will get slightly wet. It is good to store tomato sauce in plastic jars. When you press the flask, the tomato is squeezed out of it.

Pouring sauce into a jar, you must try to fill it to the very top, otherwise mold will appear. Mustard can be taken in tubes, but you need to put them in a place in the backpack in which they would not crush.

Vitamins are best placed in a metal box. Citric acid should be placed in a plastic waterproof box. You can not put citric acid in metal cans, since the acid reacts.
