This feature allows you to save a lot of time on laborious work on entering coordinates, save data in case the memory of the GPS navigator is reset, free up device memory from points unnecessary in this journey, copying them to a computer and downloading them to the navigator as necessary. Using the appropriate programs of both branded and independent manufacturers, you can create and edit waypoints on a computer, print their list.

You can enter waypoints into some models of GPS navigators manually, although this is tiring. Where manual entry is not provided, you can enter a new waypoint using the existing point, only changing its coordinates and name. You can also use the method of constructing the so-called projection of the waypoint. With this method, a new point is created at a certain distance and in a certain direction relative to the current location or relative to the selected existing point.
