Extreme test for strength and survivability of the flashlight Fenix LD20 Cree Premium Q5 7090 XR-E LED, a brief overview.

The idea was to test the strength of the Fenix lanterns, and the lanterns themselves for survivability arose a long time ago, but we somehow delayed its implementation. And now such an opportunity was finally provided. For testing purposes, it was decided to shoot and move the lantern with a car. As a victim for the shooting and hitting, our colleague kindly provided a flashlight Fenix LD20 Cree Premium Q5 7090 XR-E LED.

Fenix LD20 lantern shell shooting with shot No. 7.

The Fenix LD20 was buried in the ground with its reflector down. Shooting was carried out by shot No. 7 (diameter 2.5 mm) from a distance of 9-10 meters. As a result of the shot, the lantern was torn out of the ground and thrown into the distance by several meters.

General conclusion on the results of extreme tests of the Fenix flashlight.

In conclusion, I want to say that no matter how senseless or stupid these two test tests look, they give an idea of the strength and reliability of Fenix lamps as a whole. Also, these tests once again confirmed not only the high quality of manufacture of Fenix brand lights, but also their extreme unpretentiousness and simplicity of design. As it turned out, there was simply nothing to break in the button for turning on the flashlight pierced by two grains, and it continued to function.
