The long-awaited summer. To celebrate, to change out, to wear out and to wear a T-shirt. Did you replace the cap with a cap / hat?

I will not reveal the biggest secret: in heat under the scorching sun can it be seen from the left hand, but also a star named Sun.

So let’s say you are going to rest …

Arrived at beach. Whole risk group:

  • children, including minors;
  • a donut wife, carried away by soda;
  • elderly granny and grandpa, with moonshine at the ready;
  • diabetic sister and smoker brother with cardiovascular;
  • he overdosed himself on cup of coffee on stress.

What happened after a long stay in the sun?

At best, someone has mild symptoms:

  • general weakness;
  • headache;
  • nausea;
  • rapid breathing and pulse (tachycardia);
  • dilated pupils.

Worse, if someone experiences moderate symptoms:

  • a sharp decline in strength;
  • severe headache with nausea and vomiting;
  • dizziness
  • uncertainty of movement and precarious gait;
  • tinnitus (stunning);
  • fainting;
  • rapid breathing and pulse (tachycardia);
  • bleeding from the nose;

And it’s very sad

  • red, then blue face;
  • delusions, hallucinations;
  • involuntary muscle twitching and cramps;

This can lead to cardiovascular, stroke, impaired coordination. Remember long exposure the sun on the cerebral cortex does not go unnoticed. Hot climate, by itself, makes people more aggressive.

So, there was a sunstroke. What now?

  1. Call an ambulance.
  2. Move the victim to the shade. Lay, raising his legs (except when the face is very red and there are cramps). If there is a shortage of air, it is recommended to ensure the position half-sitting.
  3. Remove excess clothing from the victim, loosen all tightening (belt, collar).
  4. Drink cool water, apply a cold compress (on the body and head).
  5. Swipe (use a fan or fan).
  6. Monitor the condition of the victim.

How could you avoid overheating in the sun?

At the moment, as well as through prevention:

Accept sun baths, starting at 15-20 minutes. Bathe or rub your face with a wet scarf.

Wear light clothing, preferably from lightweight fabrics. Take care of the light glasses. Apply sun cream. Avoid straight sun rays (from 12 to 16 hours, at the Equator – from 10 to 17) or use an umbrella.

Do not be hungry in the sun or immediately after a meal. Eat little, but often. Drink at least 3 liters per day – suitable tea, kvass, juice, mineral water.
