Table sugar alcohol a.k.a sugary wine or Kilju
The first method is to use common table sugar and yeast to create a very basic alcohol. This will not have a great flavor, but you can use it as fuel or to sterilize medical supplies. It can be consumed, but it will not taste like anything it has ever had before.

The fermentation process will take four to six weeks. Check the air lock every few days to make sure it is still almost full of water in half. The water keeps out the insects that may be interested in taking samples of their wine while allowing the gas that is produced during the process to escape.

Preparing the mash # 2

Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved. If you do not have a pot that is large enough to contain five gallons, you can divide the recipe and make two mash batches. Everything will be poured together anyway. There is no need to make a big mess if you do not have to.
Making puree in alcohol # 3
The fermentation process is as follows. Pour the puree into the five gallon chiller or other container. You can buy a cube fermenter. Usually, this is much easier and you do not have to worry about placing a hatch in it properly. It already comes with the necessary hole and, in many cases, the hatch.
Once you have the puree in the bucket, it’s time to add the yeast. You only need 2.5 teaspoons of distillery yeast to make your moons with this 5-gallon recipe. Use a wooden spoon to stir the yeast or turn the bucket to mix it well. Place the cap and air bag in the designated hole in your fermentation basin.
The waiting game # 4
Now, it’s all about waiting. You must wait for the fermentation process to complete. This is usually about 2 weeks of waiting. Once the fermentation process is finished, it is done. No more alcohol will be produced if you leave it sitting another week.
You can use a hydrometer to determine if there is still fermentation activity. If you do not have one, you can usually see the amount of bubbles and bubbles that occur in the cube. If everything is silent, the process is finished. If there are still some minor problems, leave it for one or two more days and check again.
Distillation # 5

- Place an ice cube under the condenser. You want it to stay cool and pleasant and not to get hot during the distillation process.
- Turn on the heat for the still. You want the temperature to be around 185 degrees and no more than 200 degrees.
- As the calm warms up, the first part of the moonlight will occur. Do not drink these things. If you have made a five gallon batch, you want to throw the first 7 ounces or less. This is going to be loaded with methanol and we all know that it is quite toxic.
- Once the bad things have been released, you can leave those who are still alone to do their thing. Check the temperature to make sure it is not too hot or too cold.
- When the liquid stops dripping out of the pipe, it’s over!
